Friends of the Library Bookstore
Your support of the Walnut Creek Library Friends bookstore helps provide funds for library collections, services and programs.
Donation Guidelines
Donations of gently used books, audio book , DVDs, and CDs for the store are welcome during open hours only. Due to storage constraints, please telephone or email ahead for any donations over 5 boxes or bags so that we can make arrangements to store your donation (925-658-2790 or debswanwain@icloud.com).
Unfortunately, we cannot accept any of the following:
* Torn, dirty, or moldy books
* Textbooks
* Magazines or newspapers (no periodicals)
* National Geographics
* Reader’s Digest Condensed books
* Record albums
* Encyclopedias
* Time Life Sets
* VHS Tapes
* Bibles
* Non-English Books (except for children's books)
Please Note: when bringing boxes/bags of donations in, there will be NO bookstore volunteer or library staff person who can help unload your donations. If you need your boxes/bags back, we will provide boxes for you to transfer your donations.
